Artist Statement
My work exists at the intersection of structure and raw emotional release. Having trained in the rigorous architectural methodologies of traditional fashion design at the Istituto Marangoni, I have always been fascinated by the concept of the garment as a physical space. However, my creative evolution has led me beyond the boundaries of commercial fashion and into the realm of abstract fine art, where color becomes a language of pure empowerment.
For me, creating art is an exploration of duality and emotional depth. I am continuously balancing opposing forces: the structured, tailored lines of luxury textiles against the fluid, unpredictable energy of abstract brushstrokes; the grounding nature of my roots with the vibrant, global inspirations gathered from my chapters in Milan and Los Angeles. By painting on non-traditional mediums like leather jackets, I strip these garments of their purely utilitarian purpose and transform them into living, breathing sculptures. Each piece becomes an armor of self-expression, designed to evoke strength and resilience in the person who wears it.
Chromatology is the driving force of my practice. I treat color not as a decorative element, but as an energetic frequency capable of shifting a human being's psychological state. Transitioning into my current chapter of large-scale abstract painting and mixed media on canvas, I channel this passion for color into multi-layered visual experiences. My process is tactile and intuitive, utilizing a wide range of materials to create texture that demands to be felt.
Ultimately, my art is an open invitation to experience joy, confidence, and radical presence. At its core, my purpose is simply to make people feel good—to inject an undeniable sense of happiness, light, and vitality into everyday life through the spaces we inhabit and the clothes we wear. Whether working behind the lens as a photographer to control the visual narrative, directing paint onto raw leather, or layering media onto a fresh canvas, my goal remains unchanging: to ignite transformative experiences that foster a deeper connection with oneself, challenge the boundaries of visual culture, and empower people to show up unapologetically in the world.
Wear your true colors.
